My Mission

My goal is to educate, inspire, and connect professionals — from seasoned managers to those just starting out — who care about building spaces that matter.

Trevor’s Story

Hi, I’m Trevor Harley — a Facility and Property Management professional who believes our buildings are only as good as the people who care for them.

My background is quite diverse – for over a decade, I’ve been in operations and for the past 7 years have managed Class A commercial spaces across Southern California, supporting tech campuses and corporate environments that demand precision, sustainability, and a human touch. Along the way, I earned my CFM, FMP, PMP, and LEED AP (O+M) certifications — not to collect acronyms, but to better understand how systems, people, and processes come together to create spaces that truly work.

Today, I serve as a Regional Facility Manager for JLL and COO for Autumn Elle Nutrition, where I lead operations, strategy, and the teams that keep facilities running smoothly. But this blog started from a simple idea:

The next generation of facility and property managers need better access to insights, technology, and mentorship.

Not sure about you, but when I was thrown into facilities and property management, as so many of us often are, I had no idea where to start other than on-the-job historical knowledge. Other than a handful of larger organizations, there are slim outlets that provided tactical and strategic answers to the many questions I had upon starting.

With many of the industry’s most experienced professionals nearing retirement, there’s a growing need to share knowledge, attract new talent, and embrace technology — from AI, to workflow optimization — to keep our buildings efficient and sustainable.

If that sounds like you, I’d love for you to join the community.
